Customer Success & Product Specialist



morning is looking to extend its dominant market position with israeli freelancers by building a digital platform for cpas to work efficiently and collaboratively with their small business customers on bookkeeping, expense management, reporting and payment to tax authorities.

we are looking for a cpa professional that will support the development and refinement of the cpa product by working closely with relevant customers, accompanying their journey with the new morning product and reflecting their requirements to achieve product-market fit.

in this role, you will be responsible for recruiting and supporting our beta customers and for synthesizing their needs. you will also support the product team in defining the product strategy, roadmap and go-to-market of the cpa product based on deep market research (market trends, competitors), customer feedback and your expertise & experience from working as an accountant.      

what you’ll do:

  • help recruit cpas to the beta program by matching their needs and the beta product/program, and accompany the beta participants throughout the program to gain feedback and insights from their product experience and support their evolving needs.
  • conduct comprehensive market research to fine tune target customer segments and map competitive landscape and market trends.
  • collaborate with the product team to translate market insights into actionable strategies for product development and positioning. 
  • establish mechanisms for gathering and synthesizing customer feedback through 1:1 interviews, surveys, usability testing and other methods.
  • support the beta customers ongoing needs, and define together with the morning support team the longer term support model for the product. 
  • work with the product team to translate customer needs into detailed and accurate functional requirements.
  • assist in the development of the go-to-market strategy, including refining value proposition and competitive edge and the business model.
  • collaborate with the marketing teams to create compelling positioning and messaging that resonate with target customers.


  • cpa with experience of working with freelancers/ tax consulter (at least 2 years)- must!
  • relationship building skills and ability to get intimate with customers to deeply understand their needs; proactiveness to move customers forward in the adoption and usage funnel
  • high initiative and sense of ownership, flexible to do whatever it takes for the product success (we consider this product a small startup within morning)
  • product and technological orientation 
  • analytical and data driven to be able to synthesize market and customer data into strategy building and product prioritization.
